I may not be in the position of talking about how it is to be a parent (coz im not yet nor experience being a parent), i must say that it's true that THERE IS NO PERFECT FAMILY and it's best if we can be happy with the way we are, but this is
what I wish for in my family: a mother and father, us children, the father working, the mother staying at home and taking
care of the children, celebration of all the major holidays, eating
dinner together every night and preferably breakfast too, three
well-balanced meals a day, visits to see the grandparents a couple of
times a year (whether or not on holidays), a family fun day/game night, a
tidy home, the parents have some hobbies by themselves and each other,
the dad has some time with his friends and the mom with hers.
The
moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed
before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is
something absolutely new.
My Parents are Editha D Arabit and Emerlito Arabit. My Father was a Barangay Enforcer while my Mother was a Sewer.
The best advice my mother ever gave to me was: "To put God first in everything that I do. She told me not to worry
because she is always by my side." Mothers are wise and always right. We all know this from our
experience. For, we have all grown up on the wisdoms and advice of our
moms. And these advices, rather lessons remain with me and keep guiding me. My Mom was my shoulder to cry on,
she was always their to give me advice when i really dont know what to
do and when i dont know how to handle things in a much better way.
Ever since, I am a "mothers boy." I didn't get much chance to get along with my Father because he's been busy working. But
i must say that my father was a good husband and a good provider. He
dont care about how much money he make or how active and recognized he
is in the community, instead he is doing his best to spent quality time
with us whenever he had spare time and show how loving he is. He will never let a day comes by without telling me he's proud of having me as his son and I love him for that. He never make me feel that I am rejected and that is why i really love my Father, He accept ME for WHO AND WHAT I WANT TO BE.

My parents have been my inspiration and the ones who encourage me
to do what I think is best for me, helping me find my way in life and
let me live my life. They are always there helping me fulfill my dreams
and pick me up when i fail and telling me "It will be fine, and you'll got the right on your next try .." Because
of my parents, I learned to look at the brighter side of the world. To
live my life to the fullest without making any wrong decisions and
having a strong faith to God. I am already contented with my life and
with the people i am with.

My parents have been very supportive to me, that's why i am always trying my very best to make them proud. I always make sure that every school year, i do have Awards to receive and to see them very proud of me was a God's grace.
But im not saying that i am that typical "Good Son" a parents can ever wish..
I also have flaws that really cause some misunderstandings between me and my parents.
I learned to drink, went home not in time, cutting class etc..
But
inspite all of this, i found my parents still accepting me and
supporting me in everything i want to do. Right then, I realize I was
wrong for doing that to my parents.
Those mistakes
that I commit have make me stronger and a better person. Together with
my family and friends I am continuing to make the best of my life. In God's Grace, "I CAN DO IT!"
I DO HAVE MY EVER LOYAL AND LOVING FRIEDS FRIENDS!
A WACKIER FAMILY!
AND OFCOURSE! A GOOD GOD! :)
Right
now, I simply want to impart a valuable consideraion, to love who I am,
to be my own cheerleader, and focus on the things that will make me a
vibrant succesful man. I am hoping to begin to feel contentment that
will result in a kind of greatness or happiness that will overflow into
every area of my life. And with my FAMILY as my inspiration, i can say that I CAN SURVIVE !!!
"You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them. "
